Here’s a picture of my father, Joseph Paul McCarthy, with the patch clearly displayed on his shoulder. He was born on October 31, 1925 and passed away on February 20, 1989. After the war, he became an attorney and was a prosecutor.e for the State of Utah and Salt Lake County.
